One Family - A Historical Portrait of Old Chapel, Dukinfield

Old Unitarian Chapels are precious, containing, as they do, many stories from many lives. Between May and December  2022 I was on a placement with Old Chapel, Dukinfield, a chapel whose history goes back to the English Civil War. While there, I made this film, with members of the congregation, telling the chapel's story. It consists mainly of interviews and is 93 minutes long - it's a rich and fascinating history.  Among the many narratives that emerge, one in particular comes to the fore: of how the current generation are still affected by a ministry that was cut short by an untimely death in 1975. The film is called One Family. Watch it and you'll see why. It includes a delightful surprise at the end.
